With Canva, it's easier than ever to design any publication. It provides a lot of editing customizations, and diverse design templates for all user needs. Whether for personal or business purposes, Canva always creates beautiful products with easy operations.
In this post, I'll show you how to create professional, branded business invoices with Canva in just a few clicks.
How to design invoices using Canva
Step 1: On Canva's homepage, at the big blue banner "What will you design?", press the "Office" tab (the folder icon) or in the "More" icon.
Here, people will find design options related to the business. Find and tap "Invoices", Canva will open a new tab with the standard size for an invoice.
Step 2: On the left side of the screen, under the Templates tab, users can search for templates or browse through Canva's pre-existing categories such as Business Invoices, Service Invoices, and Commercial Invoices. commercial.
Once you have selected a satisfactory invoice template and suitable for the purpose of use, people just need to click on the template to make it appear on the design area.
Step 3: Once a template has been selected, users have the freedom to edit it as much as they like.
To change the colors of elements, simply tap them, navigate to the colored square at the top of the screen, and then choose a new color.
If you want to change all elements from one color to another, select the Change All button to save time.
To edit text elements, simply double-click them and re-enter the selected text. Use the mouse and drag and drop elements to change their position.
If the selected template is missing something or adds anything to its invoice, tap the "Elements" tab on the left. Here, users will find many options like Shapes, Lines, Images, and Graphics,... to add to their designs.
Step 4: Once you're satisfied with your invoice design, tap the arrow icon in the upper right corner to download it.
Canva automatically suggests downloading the invoice as a PDF for printing, but people can change it to any format by tapping the drop-down menu under File type.
If you don't see the arrow button, tap Share and select Download. This is my example invoice.

For the seller, the invoice is an important part to determine the date-time-month of the product or service delivery. Invoices will show information related to the two parties buying and selling in order to record the business history of the unit, as well as ensure the reputation and quality of customers.
And the invoice needs to have a clear layout of the above contents. And Canva is also a tool to write a good invoice template when we already have invoice templates or we can create our own invoice template.
